Gifted programs run on almost nothing, and the schools with the least are the ones asked to do the most with it.
A rural division with no gifted budget still has gifted students in it. A parent working two jobs still has a child who reads four grades ahead and is quietly falling apart about it. Those are exactly the people who cannot hire a consultant or buy a curriculum, and they are the reason this is a nonprofit rather than a business.

The wishlist holds the physical supplies this work runs on. Building materials, books, logic and puzzle sets, lab equipment, and the odd specific thing a unit turns out to need.
